Packout Drawer - M12 Install Driver (DIGITAL 3D PRINT FILE ONLY)

A$15

THIS IS A DIGITAL STL FILE FOR 3D PRINTING NOT A PHYSICAL PRODUCT. You will not receive a physical product, this is a digital 3D file so you can personally 3D print your own insert.

This is a custom insert that I have designed to fit your Milwaukee Packout to store your M12 Install Driver. It specifically fits the Milwaukee 2 & 3 Drawer units (48-22-8443 & 48-22-8442).

The specific tool that this is designed for is model M12FDDX, links are provided here:

https://www.milwaukeetool.com.au/power-tools/drills/drill-drivers/M12FDDXKIT202B.html

This is the ultimate modular storage solution for your Packout Drawers! Files are provided for having your insert on either the left or right side. I will have many more designs to share for the drawers soon so you can mix and match your inserts to set up your own perfect drawer units!

Features - Super Flexible Design:

  • Super Compact Storage - Designed to allow the swappable heads under M12 Tool itself! This provides an incredibly efficient design.
  • Modular Tubs - Options available for 21 Custom Modular tubs! Pick the options that best suit your needs (Full details covered in the following section).
  • Two Complete File Sets - Files provided for having your insert printed to suit the left or right half of your drawers.
  • Belt Hook Support - You can store your tool in either the "left" or "right" inserts and it will still fit regardless of which side the belt hook is on.
  • M12 Battery Storage - The insert allows for the tool to be stored with the 2.0ah inserted. The storage tub area then easily fits any M12 Battery size (including the 5.0ah and 6.0ah M12 batteries).

FULLY CUSTOMISABLE TUBS:

The design allows for a massive variety of modular tubs which have been custom designed to suit. There are 21 different tub designs available for you to pick from. You can see more details in the gallery above on photo 2 and 6. Below covers an explanation of the different types of tubs and how they interact with each other:

  • Tubs are divided into 3 different versions, "1," "2," and "1."
    • 1 & 2 - The 1 and 2 tubs work in unison. They are each half the height of the 3 tubs, meaning they can be stacked on top of each other, doubling the options for small parts/driver bit storage.
    • 3 - The deepest of the tubs extending the full depth/height of the Packout
  • The 1 and 2 tubs may look similar, but have important differences. The biggest being how they interact with the tabs seen in photo 6 above.
    • 1 - These will actually sit on top of these tabs, in fact you could just use "1" tubs without "2" tubs underneath, and they will still sit exactly flush to theta of the drawer.
    • 2 - Has cut outs in the walls to allow it to sleeve down past the tabs that "1" sits on top of. This way they can sit flat on the bottom of the insert,
  • You can use 1, 2 & 3 tubs all in unison. For instance, you could have an "3" style full depth tub on the left half of the insert. Then on the right, you could use a "1" & "2" style tub in union stacked on top of each other. You have full control over your set up! Simply select with tubs you'd like to print and customise your perfect insert!

PART SIZES:

These are large parts, so you may need to slice them up smaller to get them to fit on your printer. If you would like to see the size of each part, look the at last image above which is dimensioned. If you print the files that have been split already, you can simply glue the two halves together with CA Superglue. This is how I glued mine and it's incredibly sturdy.
